Acordding to HSBC, a list was made predicting the future ranking for the world economies worldwide in 2050. This ranking was based on a few essential factors, country demography, education, democratic governments, laws and some external factores like wars and climatic changes. Here's the first 15:
1) China (+2)
2) U.S. (-1)
3) India (+5)
4) Japan (-2)
5) Germany (-1)
6) UK (-1)
7) Brazil (+2
)8) Mexico (+5)
9) France (-3)
10) Canada (same)
11) Italy (-4)
12) Turkey (+6)
13) S. Korea (-2)
14) Spain (-2)
15) Russia (+2)
One question remains: Where is PORTUGAL?? How can Portugal not even be on the top 15?? Is it because its uncertain if Portugal is still a country in 2050? Or maybe the government factor was so low in the equation that lowered completelly the score... x)
Portugal will be Spain in 2050. That's why Spain drops two levels :)
