Mountaineer survives burning money and dreaming about a sauna

A 66 year old mountaineer, Yong Chun Kim, got lost during a snow storm in Monte Painier, Washington, when walking in a group, through mountain trails and falling through a hillside. Instead of climbing back and returning to his group, he warned via radio he would meet them somewhere else. He didn´t appeared and was found two days later by rescue teams.

To survive, the man hid beneath trees, dug a hole in the snow and burned dollar bills, dreaming about his wife and a sauna. The interesting part was the man, even in life-threatning conditions, was above all the concern for not violating the nacional park's laws, by creating a small campfire that could eventually create a fire. But the warm made by the first dollar bill made him burn another, and so some objects he had with him, like adicional socks, ropes, scarf and thoothbrush, that would save him. Although the incident, the mountaineer wishes to return to the mountain in few weeks.

Bilbo Baggins returns!

Its true! It will be a long wait until the movie will be actually released, 14 December 2012, but Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An unexpect Journey will come to life! This time is described what happened before the Lord of the rings trilogy, with Bilbo Baggins going on a journey with Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield and thirteen more dwarfs who i doubt almost anymore will be able to memorize their names x) Anyway, there might appear some trolls and one or zero dragons in some mountain, but according with the movie's budget, it will one of the best in 2012. Until there... 12 months!

Here comes the first, of probably many trailers of the movie:

World's best football player

Messi just did it again! For the third time in a row Lionel Messi is the World Player of the year by FIFA. In a another year on a nonstopping duel against Cristiano Ronaldo, again and for the third time in a row, Messi beats the Special One's special.
In third place, and again for the third time in a row, Xavi gets the third place in the FIFA's ranking, obviously WAAYYYYYY behind the inhuman skills of the two football shinning stars, but that isn´t just a great deed to be constantly be talked about..
Anyway, Messi is indeed amazing and so, as for Ronaldo this year, and for the third time in a row...

World's top economies in 2050!

Acordding to HSBC, a list was made predicting the future ranking for the world economies worldwide in 2050. This ranking was based on a few essential factors, country demography, education, democratic governments, laws and some external factores like wars and climatic changes. Here's the first 15:

1) China (+2)
2) U.S. (-1)
3) India (+5)
4) Japan (-2)
5) Germany (-1)
6) UK (-1)
7) Brazil (+2
)8) Mexico (+5)
9) France (-3)
10) Canada (same)
11) Italy (-4)
12) Turkey (+6)
13) S. Korea (-2)
14) Spain (-2)
15) Russia (+2)

One question remains: Where is PORTUGAL?? How can Portugal not even be on the top 15?? Is it because its uncertain if Portugal is still a country in 2050? Or maybe the government factor was so low in the equation that lowered completelly the score... x)

Ice age delayed??
